The Lienz press coordinator Caroline Frömel and her team extend a warm welcome to all the media representatives and are at your service for any queries and matters connected with the women’s world cup races in Lienz. For the two women’s world cup races, the press centre in the Spitalskirche in the heart of Lienz provides a unique and tasteful setting for the media, as in years before. 100 desks will be available for the accredited journalists, each one fitted with a 230-volt socket by TELEKOM with Internet Access WLAN
For the first time this year a hotline will be set up between the finishing area and the press centre, enabling the journalists to follow all the action live on 2 plasma screens. And for the well-being of the accredited journalists there will be a small buffet in the atrium.The press centre offers a unique and good-quality ambience to the media representatives on the occasion of both alpine ladies-world cup runnings also this year again with the hospital church in the centre of Lienz.

Information and FIS regulations for photographers:
- Starting at 2 p.m. on 27th December 2011 photo coordinator Erich Spiess will be handing out the official armbands to photographers
- Crampons are compulsory on the course
- All photographers to be in their positions 1 hour before start of race
- No movement on the course until race is over

You will receive your invitation in person along with your accreditation in the press centre.

Press shuttle and parking:
12 shuttle buses will transport the media representatives on the days of the races between the press centre and the ski stadium at the foot of the Hochstein about 2km away. Adjacent to the Hochstein ski stadium there is a limited number of parking spaces which can be used if you have a parking permit (available at the press centre). There is controlled parking around the press centre in town. We recommend that you take advantage of the shuttle service. There are more parking spaces to the west of the railway station.
Ski shoes, climbing irons, skis are cotransported etc. exclusively in the ski bag!!
The shuttle service is on Wednesday and on Thursday 28.12.2011, 29.12.2011 respectively to be taken from 08.00 bis 16.00 clock free claim.
Press conference:
Immediately after the races press conferences will be held with the first three skiers in the press centre.
